Systems Architecture
Drain-O for your business operations. How can we evaluate employee performance more easily? Why are we using Salesforce for this? Should we be using Salesforce at all? Why do I have so little time to do my actual job? From custom API surfaces, set-and-forget automations to full-scale platform development, Tool is the digital plumber that keep you focused on what sells.
Implementing novel API surfaces in America's largest healthcare union; supporting administrative efficiency and employee quality of life.
The mandate: re-direct employee time towards Member affairs. Said more plainly, Tool was tasked with helping Union employees spend more time helping Union members, and less time wading through administrative slop. From server-to-server Zoom application development to run-of-the-mill UX improvements, Tool delivered "can't live without it" internal efficiency improvements.
Crafting a bespoke artist booking platform, codifying legacy management workflows, facilitating inbound booking requests and simplifying contract negotiations.
Changing the way a business does business is a lot like the truism of old dogs and new tricks. But sometimes, as was the case for the House of Ill Fame, an international booking agency, the prudent decision was to make the old tricks feel new, to belabor the metaphor. After months of partnership with agency boss, Amelia Holt, a system arose naturally. Written in TypeScript, communicating with a PostgreSQL database, and delivering real-time notifications via Resend, Tool eliminated the chaff that tends to surround the business of pleasure.
